Program-Wide Evaluation & Enhancement Models
Combines components of direct consultation & continuing education to provide everything you need to prepare the learners you serve for adulthood.
Direct Consultation
Expert insight is provided in the form of a tangible report, physical
presence at meetings, or virtual support through 1:1 or group coaching meetings.
Treatment Plan/IEP Evaluations
A comprehensive assessment of the learner’s current Treatment Plan/IEP will be done to determine the extent to which their programming meets the federal requirement of a free and appropriate education (i.e., FAPE), and is targeting adaptive behavior skill domains that will place them in a position to achieve quality adult outcomes. This will be done through a number of methods, including:
Record review, interview with staff to gain a picture of the learner
Review of goals in place
Cross-reference targeted goals with those skills identified in the research as most important to improve outcomes
Analysis of how meaningful goals are using various independently developed curricula tools
Assessment of the inclusion of various essential/critical skills in the client’s repertoire
Transition Assessments
- A comprehensive assessment to determine a learner’s readiness to transition to adulthood and the extent to which their current programming is preparing them to do so will be conducted, including:
Various methods used to provide a broad overview of the learner’s current skill repertoire (e.g., record review, interviews with staff, family members, direct observation, etc.)
The use of various formal assessment instruments may be included
The report is designed to identify behavioral strengths and skill deficits related to adult life
General recommendations will be provided, as well as recommendations specific to areas such as community/supported employment, community-based instruction, life skills, etc.

I highly recommend Dr. Bahry’s training on meaningful goal selection! The training increased my ability to think critically when creating client goals to ensure goals were as socially significant as possible, leading to more relevant goal selection, worthwhile behavior change, and increased levels of independence for my clients. As somone who directly oversees newly-certified BCBAs, the ability to train supervisors to create appropriate goals is critical. This training also aided in my ability to coach others to create meaningful goals as well.
