MISSION

The mission of Meaningful HOPE is to provide Help Operating on Principles of Effectiveness to families and professionals serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through consultative services, live, virtual, and on-demand courses, trainings, and workshops, our goal is to help ensure we’re teaching skills that matter, using methods that work.

VISION

The intent of our services is to help impact individuals across the lifespan, but ultimately to help positively affect outcomes in adulthood. Our vision is to work ourselves out of job. To provide only enough help to allow our clients to help themselves. This may mean helping practitioners and families gain their independence in teaching and/or advocating for the right skills to be taught, and using the right procedures, practiced in the right environments. This may also mean teaching learners with varying levels of abilities the skills to function as independent individuals who can help themselves, as needed.
